The EtaCut II shear product group represents a new generation of heavy-duty stationary scrap shears, delivering shearing forces from 1,000 to 1,600 tonnes. Featuring press box lengths of 8 to 10 metres for high-volume scrap processing, the EtaCut II is designed to handle everything from light scrap to dense, bulky and complex material, combining powerful compaction with precise, controlled cutting performance.

The system integrates a high-force press lid, parallel-guided side compactor and robust pusher, to form dense scrap before cutting with guillotine blades. Optimised press lid kinematics ensure maximum compaction force exactly where it is needed, while overstroke functionality increases density and reduces wear. A vertically operating stamper provides additional compaction and stabilisation during cutting. Heavy forged blade tables absorb cutting forces, protecting the overall structure and extending service life.

Advanced electro-hydraulic drive systems, operating up to 400 bar, ensure efficient power delivery with minimal losses. Integrated digital control via Siemens PLC, automatic programs and full connectivity, through the myLindemann platform, enable predictive maintenance, KPI monitoring and continuous performance optimisation.
