EtaRip is LINDEMANN’s pre-shredder designed to stabilise and optimise the entire downstream shredding process. By efficiently opening pre-pressed car bodies, bales and dense shredder scrap, EtaRip homogenised feedstock before it reaches the main shredder, enabling more uniform loading, improved process control – and significantly reducing mechanical stress across the plant.
Two slow-running counter-rotating rotors with application-specific tearing teeth ensure controlled material breakdown, while the intelligent flipper system actively supports material intake for consistent throughput. The result is improved full box shredding conditions, shorter processing times and smoother material flow through downstream separation and sorting stages.
By removing trapped dirt, glass and abrasive contaminants early in the process, EtaRip helps extend the service life of hammers, rotors, grids and liners, while improving operational safety. Integrated high-torque hydraulic drives, robust bearing protection ensure reliable performance, even under demanding operating conditions.
With Siemens PLC control, optional remote monitoring via myLINDEMANN and energy monitoring capability, EtaRip supports data-driven optimisation, predictive maintenance and long-term plant performance.
